• On the banks of the Knysna Lagoon, 5 km from central Knysna.
• Knysna is a cosmopolitan lagoonside town, twice voted as South Africa’s favourite holiday destination.
• Centrally situated along the Garden Route coastline, Knysna is just 500km from Cape Town and 260km from Port Elizabeth. The nearest airport is 70km away in George.
• With-in easy distance of the beaches at Brenton-on-Sea, Buffelsbay, the Outeniqua Mountains and the famous Knysna Forests.

Two conference rooms – for 20 and 25 people – can be combined to accommodate a maximum of 50 delegates.

CATERING REQUIRMENTS

• Our Restaurant, The Crow’s Nest, seats a maximum of fifty people.
• Its large wooden deck, with built-in barbecue, makes it ideal for cocktail parties and traditional South African braais.
• All your catering requirements are arranged with our professional caterers.
• Picnic baskets can be provided upon request.

ON-SITE TEAM BUILDING

• This is the most fun you can have on water and we challenge you to find a better team building exercise!
• Based on the Amazing Race concept, teams navigate their Lightleys Holiday Houseboats around the Knysna Lagoon looking for clues. The race takes about four hours. Each clue carries a number of points and the team with the highest score wins.
• It’s suitable for groups of up to 50 people of all ages, with four to six people per boat.
• Skipper’s licences are not required, however safety is paramount.
• You can choose to use our standard clues or design your own unique race.

ON-SITE ACTIVITIES

• Lightleys Holiday House Boats for hire. Charter a luxury, self-sail house boat – for a single day or overnight.
• Hire a canoe for one or two people – they are great for romantics and ideal for birders.
• 8hp Fishing boats – hire a Poppet they are suitable for as many as four adults.
